On Sunday, October 13 learn how to cut and prepare blankets for knotting or braiding on your own.
A Project Linus event at Christ Church is a rewarding and fun outreach opportunity for children and adults in our parish to do something to benefit children. Project Linus is a national non-profit organization founded in 1995 with the mission to provide comfort, love and security to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need through gifts of new, handmade blankets and quilts created by volunteer “blanketeers”and quilters. Blankets and quilts are lovingly made by adults and children from all walks of life and many different sources.
The event will be held in Taylor Hall. All materials will be provided. For those wanting to learn to crochet, please bring a size G crochet hook. Contact Jody Maier at 914-377-4939; by email at jody. maier613@gmail.com or at coffee hour with any questions.
